No time to exercise is an obstacle that ends many individuals from staying with a physical fitness and diet program. But it is really an obstacle that’s pretty easy to overcome.
Gregg Gillies, author of Flat Belly Blueprint, says, “A standard answer for many people that do not work out regularly is simply because they possess no time to exercise. This is followed by being too tired to workout following a long day of work. But there’s a solution. Even if you find it difficult to make exercise a day-to-day habit, this simple strategy can put you on the right track.”
Exercise first thing each morning with as few as one exercise, using only bodyweight resistance. By adding exercises over time in a circuit, these can become very effective metabolic resistance training exercise sessions.
Here are some examples.
Roll out of bed and do a certain number of body weight squats (for instance 53 or 99 based upon your fitness levels!) .
Remember the time it takes to finish all the reps and attempt and beat that period of time next workout.
Or, reverse it and do bodyweight squats for 8 (or 14) minutes, resting when necessary. Monitor the total reps finished in that time period . The next time, attempt to do more within that time period.
Do a bodyweight exercise each day for a week and after that repeat.
Possibly like this:
Monday Bodyweight Squats
Tuesday Push Ups
Wednesday Burpees
Thursday Jumping Jacks
Friday Jump Lunges
Saturday Jump Rope
Sunday Rest
Another great option, if you have one is to do a short jump rope workout first thing in the morning.
The bottom line is to perform a short exercise like this very first thing each and every morning before anything else.
Once you’ve done that for a few weeks and workout gets to be the normal thing you do each morning, you can begin doing multi-exercise routines. You’ll no longer say ‘I have no time to exercise’ or ‘I have no time to workout.’ Exercise will probably have become a habit and through dealing with it very first thing each morning, you will never run out of time in your day.
